Poor starters and main meals....belly pork had been boiled to death....gammon was like chewy leather...been going here for ages but it will be a while before we are back again...on plus side tho waitress was amazing and a real credit..
Went for an evening meal and chose the 25 for 2 courses with two free small Peronis option. Several items weren't available. Mushroom starter was tasteless and chicken main had very little meat. Potatoes were undercooked. I had to ask for veg which were cold. I used to really like it there. Last time we went friends had to complain about the steak. Wont hurry back.
The food was amazing and the place itself is decorated lovely and has had a snug homely feel. Good prices. However we visited on a busy night and the drink service was a very slow. But overall was a really good evening.
Nice atmosphere inside and great garden outside. Plenty of parking and the food is good however a bit expensive for a local pub. Staff was trying their best even though not very good but it was ok. Regardless it is really lovely place to go and is worth it. Would recommend and will probably go back at some point
