A friendly little boozer with a good selection of alcoholic beverages and 2 kinds of nuts. The staff who work here tend to stand behind the bar, ask what you require, then provide what you have asked for in exchange for money. I believe this is standard practice all year round. Not a bad place at all.
We were served by the rudest member of staff! I ordered a pitcher and had to ask three times for a glass or a straw. He almost threw a beer on my friend, and my other friends' risotto was stuck together.
Great, real ale pub and as its a Wetherspoons, the beer and food are always good value. Lots of guest ales to choose from and they win loads of awards for it. Can get really busy at the weekend, standing room only.
I like it. Not the best Wetherspoons but the staff are friendly and the beers excellent, and cheap especially compared to prices in London! 2 a pint! Lots of room.
Visited blue coat and really happy with my experience. Food was great and very clean and tidy pub. Friendly staff and polite. I will recommend this pub to anyone. Will be there again very soon.
