Good food, as you would expect nowadays... and the service excellent, not too slow, considering it was full of customers.Although a large place, you can still hold a conversation.On the down side:not big enough car park... and worse, although our table & a few others were empty, we were not allowed to sit until all our group of 11 had arrived!We could have been spending money drinking while waiting, and cleared the entrance, as it was too crowded for an emergency exit that way.(Why queue at the bar for a drink, when we have a table.)
Waiting staff are attentive and polite, will help with your order and nothing is too much trouble. Pickle tray great, naan good, good just a bit too salty for me but overall a good place

Akbar's is a great curry house. The atmosphere is great, nice dim lighting, great service from the waiters too. The family naan is massive and is always a favourite. Been going for years and never going to stop.They also offer birthday songs so the parents can embarrass their kids.
Amazing experience. We came as a group 20+ of us. We were served all together and very efficiently. The decor, atmosphere and music are very authentic giving that real cultural experience. The best Indian I have had by far. Can not wait to come back.
