Room was exellent and clean no problems with wifi Kettle and drinks available price affordable and worth it

Nice stay over all clean modern hotel

spent last night in the corona, couldnt really fault it . we got a call on the way asking if we could text 20 mins before arrival to ensure someone met us , which we did, and were greeted at the door by a very friendly owner , who gave us our keys and explained that he was going out and we'd be alone , we asked for a loan of an Iron and he fetched one to the room immediately before leaving. The hotel looks as if its in the middle of a refurbishment . everything smelled of new carpets and fresh paint , some little jobs still need doing but it was bright fresh and airy. The room it self was spotlessly clean , with a very large TV and comfortable bed . The radiator didnt seem to get too hot but was just about adequate on a very cold day . there were plenty of sockets but a couple didnt work , looked as if they had not yet been wired up, but there was a thoughtfully placed extension reel to use if needed . also sockets by the bed with USB charging points . The bathroom was new with very nice tiling , the water was hot although it took quite a bit of pulling through to start with , I thought we were looking at a cold shower at first but once through very good. There is a very strange bath looks like a half size with a seat in it. perfectly usable though . The bad bits : which were not a major issue , was there were only two pillows. As there were no staff it was impossible to get more , but I got the feeling had i messaged the owner he would have been there and sorted some . There is free wifi , with the password on a post it note , I couldnt get it to work , but we had full 4g coverage in the room so it wasnt a problem to us. only needed it to google a taxi. Parking: is only on street but we had no problem at all and parked directly underneath our roo window. Out and about . its an easy walk into the town centre in nice weather . in biting cold its not a trek but its enough . there are plenty of takeaways etc in the area but we struggled to find somewhere to eat that was open at 1600hrs . we eventually found a hungry horse pub , the riverside a 20 min walk away around the dual carriageway and football stadium probably best by car or taxi . All in all the corona is not a premier inn but its better than most travelodges.

+ Clean modern roomsGood location everything is driving distance awayEasy check in with good communication with the proprietorComfortable bedsWas allowed early check in which was convenient Could come in and out as i pleasedPlaces to eat were nearby-Was a little difficult to find at firstOverall nice pleasant stay wouldn't mind staying again

Room was a very good size, spacious by comparison to other properties I stayed at in the UK. Budget accommodation. Bed was very hard, not everyone's cup of tea. TV is small and in the corner, would be nice if it was on a wall bracket that would extend and turn, but it isn't. Location is ok, in a neighborhood set back from the main road, which helps keep road noise down. Major bus route is a short walk away. It is a little bit of a walk to get to shops, high street, town centre but not a bad walk. Good pedestrian paths. Locally run small business, I arrived a little early for check in and appreciate the proprietor for letting me check in early. Old fashioned key system (no electronic key cards) give you access to the building and your specific room. Allows you to come and go as you please even when proprietor is not in. Easy check out with a drop box for the keys.
