Visited the store in Rotherham yesterday and was extremely pleased I did. There is a great range of bathrooms in stock for all budgets. I have done a lot of searching in the big name stores and online and can say that my visit to this store was worthwhile. The finish we are after had a much better build quality than some other online retailers with competitive pricing. The store was busy yet the staff took a lot of time to take you through the products but only when asked, not pounced on like some showrooms. We have not yet placed our order but looks like we will be returning in the coming weeks, and if we do we will review on the ordering and delivery experience.

My parents ordered a bath etc from Pickford's. A new bath. They are of the age as am I where if you order a brand new item from a company portraying themselves as reputable experts that you get what you pay for. Under no circumstances do they expect to receive damaged goods. Why would they?They had saved for a new bathroom and the plumber to install it. They were excited. The plumber had partially installed the bath and began to remove the plastic coating when he discovered a raised broken abrasive bump.I called them immediately as my parents were very upset to be told that as the legs were attached there was nothing they can do other than ask my parents to pay for another bath.Disgusting.I have shopped at Pickfords and spent thousands in the past. I recommended them as opposed to online regards customer services. All I would say now is AVOID. The problem in Rotherham is a lot of elderly people shop there as it's all they know. I suppose they sell more stock due to their dreadful customer service and selling of faulty goods!Buyer beware and advise your elderly relatives to double check products as they deliver faulty goods and tell you you should have checked it when anyone would expect perfect new goods. Surely they should check what they are sending out!
